The federal Education Minister and provincial education ministers held an online meeting. In which they decided and agreed to open the schools from mid to September. According to the meeting decision, all the public and private institutes, colleges, universities, and madrassas will reopen from 15 September 2020.
During the meeting, all ministers and secretaries of the concerned department were present. About the decision to open schools, they also took suggestions about the Health Department.
It also decided that all the institutes’ administrative offices will open from the 15 July. Before reopening the schools, the government ensures that all the preparations to follow the SOPs have been made. For this, in the first and third weeks of August, the government will review all the parameters.
Further, it also decided that the university will allow the Ph.D. students to come before the 15 September. Those students who want to perform their research work can also go to the laboratories before 15 September. For these students, the education minister said that after Eid, these students have to come under the rules of SOPs. And it will be compulsory for them to examine their health properly.
