No Schools Will be Permitted to Resume Teaching in Sindh

Amid the announcement that was made by the All Sindh Private Schools Association to reopen the schools from the 15th of this month, the government of Sindh has announced that no private school in the province would be given the permission to resume the teaching activities until there is a ban on the reopening of the educational institutes.

The Sindh government also issued a warning to the private schools that action would be taken against the violators of the government-issued SOPs. It also said that the markets and other businesses will be operating their activities as per the issued directives and that no change regarding the working hours or suspension of business on the weekends has been made.

The government also said that a decision about resuming public transportation would be made today. The city administration said that decisions that are to be taken by the NCC in a meeting today would be implemented.

PM Khan will be heading a meeting of the National Coordination Committee (NCC) today for making decisions whether to further relax or tighten the corona imposed lockdown instructions considering the spike in the rate of fatalities and infections.

The meeting would be attended by all the relevant authorities. In the meeting, the current coronavirus crisis would be discussed and future strategies would be worked out.
