Adjunct or part-time teaching assignments in online, hybrid, or video conferencing formats work collaboratively to create a learner-centered environment focused on student learning and success. Additionally, teaching approaches are expected to include active and collaborative techniques and real-world applications.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Essential functions: Create a community of learners, plan and implement active and collaborative learning and assessment, Also, provide consistent feedback, evaluate achievement, assign grades. Likewise, maintain student records of attendance, participation, grades, etc
Additional responsibilities: Participate in instructional development and orientation, department and college-wide activities.
Requirements for Vacancy for Adjunct Faculty in USA
- A Master’s degree in the discipline, Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in the discipline, or native speaker with International or National recognized certification in language or related field.
- Similarly, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse faculty, staff, and student body.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Community college teaching experience or experience teaching adults.
- Furthermore, familiarity with learning management systems and other remote learning technology.
