The University of Michigan calls application for Research Fellowship in Molec & Integrative Physiology in Ann Arbor, United States. The fellow will join the team that will operate to complete three projects and publish three scientific manuscripts.

Key Responsibilities

Technically the job will include:

  • Isolation of DNA and next-generation sequencing from formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue.
  • Isolation of RNA and quantification from FFPE tissue and its use for a reverse-transcriptase polymerase chain reaction.
  • Immunohistochemistry and photomicroscopy of FFPE tissue sections.

Requirements 

Candidates must have the following qualifications in order to be eligible for Research Fellowship at the University of Michigan

  • MD/PhD in Adrenal development and disease.
  • The projects require past experience that includes training in adrenal physiology and disease.
