Education Authorities have announced many suggestions that the school will be reopened until COVID-19 ends. But according to the details, the new order has been issued regarding school opening. Punjab Education Minister, Dr. Murad Raas said that the school would only be open if the Punjab Health Department gives permission. They released many tentative dates, but now they discussed it with the other members, and finally, he left the decision to the Health Education Department.
Shafqat Mehmood, Federal Education Minister, said that the school would reopen on September 15, 2020. But universities are going to be open from August 01, 2020. He said that university students could protect themselves from coronavirus as they are mature enough, but the school going students can fight this dreadful virus. So, we can’t take the risk of school reopening. Students must keep patience and keep continuing their online studies. Despite all these, they help school administrators in fee collection, salary disbursement, and other regulatory affairs.
It is clear from the news that the school will only be reopened after consultation with the Punjab Health Department. If the COVID-19 is under control, then the school might be open before September otherwise not.
