The Punjab Education Minister Murad Raas made a statement about the fee concession in private schools. He said that private schools in Punjab will not charge the full fee during the COVID-19 duration. Various private schools did not follow government instruction regarding the 20% fee reduction.
Murad Raas, the Punjab Education Minister, mentioned in his tweet that parents must report about the school if they are not giving the 20% discount. Parents can complain about such schools to the district CEO education.
He further said that the government has noticed and resolved about 95% received complaints from parents till now. Other than resolved cases, there are many schools still charging the full fee.
Before this KPK government also announced to reduce the fees by 10% and 20% (according to the monthly fees). If the fee is less than Rs 6,000/- then the school will give a 10% concession. And a 20% reduction, if the fee is more than Rs 6,000/-.
