PM Khan has said that the promotion of modern education is the top priority of the government. He said this while he was directing the formulation of a mechanism on preferential basis for ensuring the provision and easy accessibility of the internet facility to the students and the eradication of all the problems in this matter.
As per a press release from the media wing of the office of the PM, PM Khan headed over a meeting for reviewing the promotion of knowledge economy, the making of a research center on the life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and the various suggested projects for the higher education.
The meeting comprehensively reviewed the making of the Pak-Austrian Fachhochschule in Haripur, Seerat-e-Nabi Centre, the research center for better coordination among the universities and industry, easy access to the internet for promoting the education and information technology.
PM Khan asked for the early completion and the functioning of the Seerat-e-Nabi (PBUH) Centre so that the research activities could be conducted.
He also said that country’s youth has got immense talent in the domain of information technology and emphasized the need to offer a conducive environment to motivate them.
