Murree would be getting a new university and would also be getting a new water scheme worth Rs.22 billion which would be meeting the water requirements of the entire city, as informed by the Chief Minister of Punjab Usman Buzdar.
On Friday, while he was approving the development plan he said that the water scheme would be offering more than 600,000 gallons of water to the city residents on a per-day basis.
He also said that a new police station and subdivision would be constructed in Murree and added that the additional deputy commissioners and superintendents of the police would also be hired.

The program would also be including the making of the Koshar University and the planting of more than 300,000 trees.
He indicated that the government was bent on reopening the tourist spots, hotels, and restaurants in Murree. He added that they are preparing the SOPs and would be discussing them in the upcoming meeting of the NCOC.
On the other hand, PM Khan has referred to the year 2020 as the year of the Blue Economy. He emphasized the significance of the effective use of ocean resources.
