The M100 Young European Journalists Workshop (M100YEJ) is part of the renowned annual international media conference M100 Sanssouci Colloquium. The workshop is aimed at a young generation of journalists and editors between the ages of 21 and 30 from all over Europe, including the countries of the Eastern Partnership and Russia. Potential participants work as journalists, bloggers, or scientists. They should be passionate about their role in the democratic process and have an active interest in the future of the media, journalism, and democracy. Due to the COVID situation, the workshop will be held as a decentralized online event over a period of six weeks.

Module

The workshop modules consist of theoretical inputs, joint discussions as well as practical case studies, and joint project work in which the newly acquired knowledge can be applied and which are directly related to the professional needs of the participants. A key element of the workshop is an interdisciplinary scenario process on the future of our European media landscape in 2030.

Theme
