Punjab Education Minsiter Warns the schools seeking to reopen

Punjab government warns the schools seeking to reopen schools.

The government of Punjab warned the schools to face strict consequences if they reopen schools from Monday. As it is a serious issue, Murad Rass stated strictly ordered not to open schools.

Murad Raas said that any private school that opens on Monday will deal with strict action. He also said that we would not put our children in any danger by opening schools. Not any public and private school will open in Punjab until notification by the Punjab Government.

The issue of opening schools was raised last week. Last week, the private school association demanded to reopen the school from 01 June 2020. Then the Punjab Teacher Union (PTU) stood against the reopening of schools.

Punjab Teacher Union (PTU) central president Chaudhary Sarfraz also said that it is challenging to maintain social distancing in schools as large numbers of students are involved. So, it will not be possible to follow the SOPs.

The Education Minister of Balochistan also said that the decision to reopen the school would finalize by 15 July. He also said that students’ health is very important, and it is our priority to save children from this disease.
