The admission policy has been finalized by the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIU). The university will announce its admission process from June 14th. Students all across Pakistan can apply for admission online in 115 programs at 9 faculties of the university. They can apply until 31st July.
In a meeting on Friday, this was decided in the chairmanship of Rector IIUI Prof Dr. Masoom Yasinzai and President IIU Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh. The meeting took place via video. The Acting President IIUI Dr. Aqdas Naveed Malik, Vice Presidents, Deans, and other relevant officials also attended the meeting.
The admission policy was discussed in detail by the participants. Furthermore, the online teaching policy and open book online examination were discussed. Dr. Jummani briefed the meeting regarding the Head of Departments training for preparing open book based exams.

On this occasion, the IIUI Rector said that the global outbreak of COVID-19 has badly affected the education sector. He said that it is important to shift towards alternate methods and mediums of teaching. He complimented the efforts made by IIUI amidst the outbreak. He was hopeful that the online policy and training will help in the restoration of the academic process.
