Private Schools Association Demands Reopening of Schools
Due to the COVID-19 shutdown, all educational institutes will remain close till July 15. Many CEO’s of Private schools are not happy with this decision. On Friday, All Pakistan Private Schools AssociationPresident Kashif Mirza conduct a press conference in Lahore. Addressing in the press conference, he refused to open school from July 15. He stated we could not pay salaries to the teachers. We appeal to the government to reopen school from June 01. They demanded to open the school under the standard operating procedures SOP from June 1.
According to the details APPSA President Kashif Mirza also said: “If government not allowed to reopen schools, then we held the protest outside the press club.” He called online education as a “flopped project” as all educational institutes closed from March, so we are unable to pay the rent of school buildings. We request the government to allow us to open private schools.
