Under the current lockdown situation that is imposed for curbing the spread of the novel virus, IBA, Karachi has announced to take steps in order to assist the prospective candidates in the admissions process.
As per a press release, the Institute of Business Administration will be accepting the A-levels grades that are awarded to the students based on their final exams and/or via the guidance grading by the Cambridge Board.
In addition, for all those candidates whose Intermediate and A-Levels results are pending, the IBA is working to adjust them by offering them a provisional conditional admission offer.
All these candidates will be allowed to give their A-Levels exams by the end of the year and submit their respective results by the next year for securing their admissions.

As per the press release, IBA further intends to facilitate all those students who are giving their A-Level exams in October 2020, by offering them a reduction in the course load, so that they could keep their focus and not compromise on their A-Levels examinations that are to happen alongside their education at IBA.
The Business Institute has also formulated a strategy in case if the IBA admission tests are not to occur owing to the lockdown, then admissions would be offered via interviews of the shortlisted candidates. The criteria for shortlisting would be devised by the IBA Admissions Committee once all the applications are submitted by the applicants by the deadline for each prospective program.
It further mentioned that all the ones who seek to get the admission in IBA are encouraged to visit the website for further details and fill in the application with as much information as they could.
