HEC-Funded Online Training Program For Fresh PhDs

HEC has decided to start an online training program for about four weeks for freshly Ph.D. graduates. On Wednesday, it was announced in the press conference that to continue its activities in this COVID-19 break, HEC has decided to conduct an online training course for 41 IPFP  fellows whose freshly graduate under the National Faculty Development Program (NFDP). The Microsoft team will assist this online training.

It has also been said that the newly established National Academy of Higher Education (NAHE) has organized this course, and it aims to provide the new faculty those skills which they needed to become successful academics.

The HEC will fund the IPFP fellows, and this online training program will help the universities to recruit regular faculty positions. This program will be led by a team of national and international experts with a higher standard of online training. 

It has also been said that NFDP courses will be conducted between now and August 2020, with 12 cohorts having forty candidates each.
