Furthermore, in order to allow students to engage with Model UN, even during COV-19 related lockdowns, WFUNA is offering weekly online sessions that will give participants the unique opportunity to learn about current world affairs and the United Nations, while honing their public speaking, negotiation, and debating skills – all from the comfort and safety of their home.

WIMUN Online is for all high school and university students aged 14-30, with high school and university students being split into different sessions. Additionally, each session will go ahead once a minimum amount of students have registered in order to ensure proper and productive debate and negotiations.Highlights
- Two-hour sessions each day, for a total of three days
- Additionally, the most accurate simulation of the United Nations from the comfort and safety of your home
- Also, extensive training materials and other online resources to help participants prepare for the sessions
- Likewise, training Q&A at the beginning of the simulation
- Also, briefing and Q&A with UN Staff or other experts on the agenda item
- Additionally, the opportunity to deliver an opening speech
- Opportunity for extensive negotiations
- Furthermore, the participants will receive an electronic Certificate of Participation
Sessions
The duration of the session is from April 14- May 01. There is a division of the session into different durations. Additionally, different schools and Universities are providing the sessions in which the applicants can discuss and expand their knowledge on various topics.April 20-22: Human Rights Council (High School)
