Karachi: The academic calendar of schools and colleges in Sindh has been released according to which the matriculation examinations will be held from June 15 and July 6, while the Sindh Education Department has taken a big decision for the first time in Sindh. It has been decided to give based on the results of the party.

Sindh Education Department has issued Sindh’s academic calendar and Inter first year admissions will be based on ninth-grade results. Matriculation examinations will be held from 15th June 2020 and Inter from 6th July 2020،

The Provincial Department of School Education has released the educational calendar of schools and colleges in Sindh 35 days after the meeting of the steering committee. According to the notification issued in this regard, the Sindh Education Department has taken a big decision.

It has been decided to give admission on the basis of party results while in Karachi also under centralized admission policy CAP, inter first-year admissions will be given on the basis of ninth class results only. These admissions will be from June 1. Will be in status and admissions will be based on matriculation results ۔

According to the notification, the academic session of public and private educational institutions in schools and colleges of Sindh will start from 1st June 2020/21. The academic session of schools affiliated to the Aga Khan Board will also start from 1st June 2020.

However, the session of Cambridge A and O level schools Promotion of first to third class students in the next class will be from 1st August after written test and review. Exams of 4th to 8th class will start on 1st June and will end before 15th June and the results of these classes will be released on 15th June only.

Ninth and tenth class examinations in Sindh will start from June 15. These examinations will be held in the afternoon shift. Eleventh and twelfth class examinations will start from 6th July. These examinations will also be held in the afternoon. All education boards of Sindh will release 12th class examination results by 15th September. Eleventh class results will be in 60 days from the release of 12th results.
