Sindh Announces Schedule for Matric and Intermediate Exams

The schedule for matric and higher secondary school examinations in Sindh has been released by the Sindh Education and Literacy Department. It was confirmed in a notification issued that the secondary examinations in Sindh will begin from July 6th and will continue till June 31st.

Also, as per the schedule, the higher secondary school exams will begin from July 6th and will continue till the mid of July. This will be followed by a subject-wise schedule.

Sindh Education Minister, Saeed Ghani in an earlier announcement said that all the examinations will take place in the afternoon. The result will be out till 15th August.

The secondary exams usually take place in March-April time in Sindh while the higher secondary exams take place during the April-May time. But due to the closure of schools, the exams were postponed amid the coronavirus pandemic.

An early summer break was announced by the provincial government that is said to end on May 30. Also, from December 20th to 31st all educational institutes in Sindh will observe winter holidays.
