
The governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar declared that the teaching of the Holy Quran with complete translation is compulsory in all universities’ curriculum of the province Punjab. As a Muslim, we all believe that the Quran is a complete code of life and to understand its teachings is very important for us. So, Governer Punjab took a great initiative to make it a mandatory part of the curriculum.
At a press conference on Friday, Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar said that all the Muslim students must attend the class of HOLY QURAN TEACHINGS WITH TRANSLATION. Seven-membered committee of Vice-Chancellors has made to submit the recommendations and suggestions to make it a part of the syllabus.
The seven-membered committee of vice-Chancellors will submit their first draft of recommendations and suggestions by May 10, 2020. Then these suggestions would send to the VCs of other private and public universities and the Ulema in the Punjab Province. Then on May 17, their feedback will be collected and discussed. On May 22, the suggestions draft will be finalized.

- VC of Lahore College for Women University Dr. Bushra Mirza
